My dearest friend Junior sent me this stunning Victorian colored Gizzy quilt. I just love it to pieces.(well, not literally to pieces:) The fabric was gotted just for me because I am a Victorian kitty and these soft colors soothe me. I am a lucky kitty and just wish each cat in the world could feel as lucky as all of us here at the cat Blogosphere...Thank Millie's mommy and Juniors mommy for my treasure! Love Miss Peach

Derby's Quilt

I am a little slow it getting a picture posted too, just like Angus. Mum was cleaning up stuff and found the instructions on how to be able to post. So here I am in all of my glory, sitting on this glorious quilt that I won in a raffle to help out Churchill.

The colors of the quilt go so nicely with my furs, all golden and orange in colors.

Thank you Darling Millie mom Lynne for being such a creative purrson.

Late? Who's Late?

Well, it would seem that I am late! It's only been 4 months that I've been enjoyin' the most comfortable bit o' cotton n' color a fella could have and I've neglected to properly thank the ever-crafty Millie and her mom!
Not only does it match my furs and compliment my Staff's decor, but it has a little Eau de Millie on it, which I sniff periodically to remind me of the gentle paws that helped create such a comfortable quilt.
Thank you ever so, Millie-and my humble thanks to your able mom!

Tiger Lily

Mom did not tell us to expect something in the mail so we were really surprised to see a package from Millie and her Mom. Of course we had to open it right away. Just look at our beautiful Gizzy quilts! They are perfect for our home and for us!

We all love them both but Jemima has claimed this one as her own. She likes to be wrapped up in it because it helps keep her nice and warm.

She also likes to sleep on top of it. See how the colors match our walls? I think here Jemima was ready for the clicky flashy box to stop going off.

Ruckus claimed this Gizzy right away too. Here you can see her telling the rest of us to back off!

Do you see the beautiful peachy colored blocks of these quilts? They are really brighter than the pictures show. The color is called Firewater and it exactly matches the color of the walls in the diningroom that is right next to the livingroom. Mom did not get any pictures of the quilts in that room because we would not let her move them!

Zeke and Sushi and I, Tiger Lily, have all had turns on the quilts too but Mom has been too slow to take pictures. Maybe we will let her catch us with her clicky flashy box sometime but I decided not to wait until then to post the ones we do have.

Thank you Darling Millie and your Mom! We are so happy with our Gizzy quilts!!!

The Furry Bambinos Love Their Quilts!

Mommy ordered us Gizzy Quilts as a special Christmas gift.  Mommy asked us what our color preferences were, and then she contacted Millie's Mom, Lynne, about making the Gizzy Quilts.  Millie's Mom is furry talented indeed!

When the quilts arrived, of course Panda Bear and I (Padre) had to sniff the box:

Not to be outdone, Meerkat also gave the box a thorough sniffing:

And then we had to sniff our quilts.  Here I am on my "Warm Cheery Blue" Gizzy Quilt:

And this is Meerkat on her "Brown and Beige Kalahari" Gizzy Quilt (note how well her quilt matches her furs):

And this is Panda Bear checking out his "Dark Brick Red" Gizzy Quilt.  Note how well Panda Bear's quilt matches the curtains.  (You can see the curtains better in the picture of Meerkat on her quilt.)

Plus, here is a photo of Panda Bear on my "Warm Cheery Blue" Gizzy Quilt.  Apparently, Panda Bear is not particular about where he stretches out:

Obviously, I have some "educating" to do here!

The Gizzy Quilts are absolutely beautiful.  The photos do not do the quilts justice!  Plus, it was so much fun to get to choose exactly the colors that we wanted!  Thanks so much for creating such beautiful Gizzy Quilts for us, "Mom Lynne"!

Chance Bond Loves his Gizzy

After a very long journey from Ohio to Pennsylvania, Chance arrived at his forever home with a present already and waiting for him in the mail. A lovely Gizzy Quilt for him to snuggle on while he got the well deserved rest he needed. It was love at first sniffy.

When getting to know his new woofie brother, he always ran to hide with his quilt whenever he got scared. When he started to heal and climb up on things, the quilt found it's way to the couch in the kitty room.

This was his very favourite napping spot until just recently the Vet declared him healed. Even now that he is better, he still loves the comfort and security of his gizzy quilt. So far it is the only snuggle blanket he wants to sleep on and not play with.

Thank You soo much for the beautiful job you did on his quilt. As you can see by the pictures he absolutely adores it and I don't know what I would have done for him without it. I just know it's what made him feel better when he was still healing from his injury.

Lots of Thanks and Purrrs

Jan's Funny Farm Surprise

Many of you already know the secret of the package that arrived at Jan's Funny Farm Monday. Poppy Q and her mom conspired with Millie and her mom to send 2 flying quilts to the Funny Farm.

Now we have 3 matching quilts. What a wonderful surprise. How did these kitties and their moms manage to keep this secret for a whole month? Buddy can't keep a secret for ten minutes. But he's a dog, so that doesn't count.

These are our 3 matching Gizzy quilts. Please forgive Cyndi for scrunching up one. She's excited!

Buddy thought the two quilts were just his size.

Samaritan wanted to borrow a quilt from Percy.

Now that winter is coming and the house is cold, Jan is making us 3 Gizzy quilt beds and 3 non-Gizzy-beds. Here is Crystal posing in one of the Gizzy beds.

Come visit us on Jan's Funny Farm.
